Photo by Jim Benning Jim Benning I’ve been enjoying my little Zapatista Christmas tree ornament—I think it was originally supposed to be a key chain—which I brought back from a trip to Chiapas years ago. When my three-year-old daughter asked about it, I was more than happy to launch into a discussion about subcomandante Marcos and agrarian reform movements. Eva Holland A delicious, enormous cinnamon bun—no joke, it was the size of my head—from a roadside bakery on the Klondike Highway, between Whitehorse and Dawson City. That’s my kind of road trip fare.  Read More →
