UPDATE: holyy! huge response about milk bags... LOL! The milk tastes the same in a bag, its personal preference, and depends on how much you consume. We also have chocolate milk in bags. We have pop (soda) in bottles and cans, not bags! haha... These milk bags are in select provinces in Canada, Ontario and Quebec I believe. Also in certain countries around the world. Ongoing debate about whether or not its ACTUALLY more environmentally friendly, I have no idea. PS Please keep an open mind. People consume liquids differently. yes, it's different and weird to you, but it does not make you or your milk superior. Frustrates me how ignorant some people are! Don't be a snob. ............................... Milk in bags... quite bizarre to foreigners, but mind boggling to me that no one else uses them!   Recorded live at a week long Nyabingi ceremony in the Trelawney Hills in 1982 Sure DUB production can add atmosphere to a recording, as can electric instruments and great singing and so on, but this is the real deal. Very few roots recordings come anywhere near the mood of spiritual devotion found here. This is the real deal, it's not for outside consumption and it doesn't care if you don't like it. This record is basically a field recording of an actual Nyabinghi ritual and as such is probably one of the most authentic Jamaican record you could hear. Now authenticity is of course not necessarily the same thing as quality but it usually is and in this case it definitely is. This is fantastic it is not really music in the proper sense. This is devotional material with musical qualities. Do not expect Count Ossie, the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari or Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus all of whom are primarily musicians rather than spiritual figures or worshipers. This material was recorded live at a week long Nyabingi ceremony in the Trelawney Hills in 1982. It was occasioned by a visit from American president Reagan to jamaica which inspired titles such as "White Boy a Follower" and "Keep Cool Babylon." This is the real gritty and intense. The Nyabingi chants on this album provide a rare opportunity to appreciate the righteous anger and dread indignation which fuels the creative energies of Rastafari.
