Thanks for coming back to the show, I'm Dana Ward at the ClevverTV headquarters with a VMA update. It just got announced that Usher and Paramore will be performing live for the upcoming MTV award show. Interestingly, both are nominated for multiple Video Music Awards this year: Usher has nods in Best Male Vid, Best Dance Video and Best Choreography while Paramore's Hayley Williams received nominations for her collab with BoB on Airplanes for 4 categories. So far, the confirmated acts for the September 12th show include Eminem, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, BoB, Drake as well as Florence and the Machine. I'm your girl Joslyn Davis in the studio with news on the latest artist added to the VMA line-up. Along with Kanye West, Drake and Justin Bieber, Eminem will also be hitting the VMA stage in just a few weeks. Em is known for his break-out performances on the cable network's award shows. Remember the performance he put on back in 2000 when he walked in with a ton of Slim Shady clones, and then there are his multiple run-ins with the Triumph the comic dog. We're guessing that his performance at this year's event will be a show stopper too. Plus it makes sense to have Em on the show, considering he does have the best selling album of 2010. So guys, here's a question - Would you rather see Justin Bieber hit the VMA stage with Eminem or Kanye? This is of course only if a collaboration was the order of the day. Now, as you guys might already know, Justin Bieber was expected to make a very big announcement, and now word on the street is the he and his twitter bro-mancer, Kanye West, will possibly be hitting the VMA stage together. Hollywood Life is reporting that the two amigos will perform together at the upcoming ceremony. If it's up to Justin Bieber, a performance with Kanye would be a given. After all, over a year ago, just when the Bieber fever was really kicking in, the Biebs posted a backstage video of him covering Kanye's heartless on his guitar. So, that just proves that he's a legit fan of the iconic rapper's work. According to an MTV report, Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan, and one of the artists expected to participate in the collabo is saying that it's going to happen. He seems excited that Justin is looking forward to the collabo because it signifies that the young generation likes his work. Rae also added that Yeezy - aka Kanye - called him about the Justin trio and they're gonna make it pop. Whether or not this poppin will go down at the VMAs though, Rae didn't say.
