The Mileage Plus Visa has a pretty nifty refer-a-friend promotion right now, whereby the referrer gets 15,000 miles and the person referred gets a 30,000 mile sign-up bonus. To take advantage of this offer one has to apply via phone at 877.858.5188 and mention code C7G4 , and there’s a limit of two referrals per person. David Copperfield - Flying (Levitat...David Copperfield flies like a bird, pushing against the wind. He then flies through rotating hoops and then sealed inside a glass box, to prove there is nothing supporting him. This was first shown on television during 1992, for Copperfield's 14th magic special, The magic of David Copperfield XIV: Flying - Live the dream. No computer effects or edits are used in this illusion, and the perspex box has been previously inspected by two random audience members. The people who are seated around him on stage are the two back rows of the theatre, who David invited to join him on stage. It is worth noting that even the woman he flies with, does not know how the illusion is done! Jetlag2222 The F4U Corsair...I was in a flying mood this week for some reason. This is the 2nd of 2 flying videos I made this week. It features the very cool F4U Corsair. The Corsair is probably one of the most recognized warbirds of WWII along with the P51. The bent gullwings allowed the designers to put a bigger prop on this plane to use more of the incredible power from the huge engine, as well as allowing shorter landing gear so they would fit into the wing easier when retracted. The Corsair was incredibly successful as a fighter. It was sometimes called the "whistling death" due to the sounds it made on strafing passes. This replica F4U Corsair is extremely stable and fun to fly. And it's even more fun with the brand new HD Hero cam mounted up front so we can all enjoy actually flying in it. Enjoy the flight! And don't worry, I will be back to making monster truck videos very soon. :))
mig-21 Flight Prep And...I've enjoyed watching a lot of aircraft and now I can add a mig-21R to the list. In 1986, the folks of Aviation Classics started importing and restoring mig-15s, -17s, and -21s. This aircraft was originally built in 1971, was imported from Czechoslovakia, and is now privately owned.
