  Many of the tactical shooting videos you see are staged. They are practiced over and over again and then when things are perfected, the camera starts rolling. Not in Nutnfancy shooting videos. That's because I am first and foremost a gear and systems reviewer and it's interesting to show my viewers the actual tactical lessons that sometimes generate my conclusions. For instance when the EOTECH XP2-2 on my Arsenal SGL21 gets shut off (for whatever reason) and then needs to be used instantly in a bright, snowy environment under stress, it comes back on at mid-brightness level that looks invisible under the conditions. That caused confusion for me and delay problems...you'll see that happen! You'll see the misses, the hits, the lessons learned, the tiredness, the fun times, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Armchair Elitists (aes) sometimes will weigh in on the comments and strive to gain cool points from the viewers by their often inane observations. Go and check out their videos to ascertain their; most are disconnected from the reality of this type of shooting and their performance in desert with us would be abysmal. There are definitely better shooters (3-guys that are very practiced) but Ive learned talk is cheap and I've seen lots of guys who talked big ending up with the lowest scores (usually plays out that way).   ALLBROOK, Calif. -- Investigators Friday obtained search warrants to search the home of a North County family missing for more than two weeks. A judge signed search warrants for the Fallbrook home of the mcstay family, a pickup truck in the driveway and a car that was discovered near the US-Mexico border. Cadaver dogs were brought to the home Friday morning to sniff for signs of Joseph mcstay, his wife Summer and their two sons, Gianni and Joseph Jr. Sgt. Don Parker, search and rescue coordinator for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, said, "They went through the backyard and didn't find anything at all." Detectives began scouring the house for clues and emerged hours later with two computers that will be analyzed at a crime lab. Detectives also took anything that might have evidentiary value. Sheriff's Lt. Dennis Brugos said, "Things like records, phone, bank, perhaps diaries, anything else that might lead us to where these people are." Authorities found a video camera inside the pickup truck and what looked like greeting cards. Girard, 45, was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly storing several tear gas grenades and explosive pepper ball projectiles. He was also charged with the illegal possession of four police batons. Just before 11:30 pm Tuesday, Manchester-by-the Sea police executed a search warrant at 23 Bridge St., police said in a statement. Girard faces four counts of possession of an infernal device and four counts of possession of a dangerous weapon. Additional charges are pending, police said. He indicated to police that he anticipated some form of Armageddon to take place shortly and he was getting prepared, Police Chief Glenn mckiel said. In addition to the grenade-type devices, police found approximately 20 weapons, including high-powered rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
